I wanted to share a tutorial for the Maschine Mikro with a different workflow for some that may not be used to or even mess with the step sequencer
Maschine actually has a pretty good step sequencer, really fast to lay down a groove.
I like to switch up the workflow at times, as you can come up with different grooves and tracks that you may not normally come up with just by changing your workflow
So this just shows the step sequencer basics and how to navigate it, it’s really easy and fun to use
In this video I make a house beat and show how to step edit your way to a nice groove
peace!

This was dope. I like that you change it up. It’s true, I’ve NEVER used the step sequencer on machine but it’s true that you will come up with something different if try different stuff.
Nice one.
BK
Word fam, try it out man, you be surprised. Or even just use it to edit your tracks, gives you nice control over various steps you’ve already put down.
Oh this is Mikro only? Not interested! Lmao!!!
Nah, jk this is dope. Same principles apply to both.
Whahahahahahahaha! LOL
Nice one brotha lol
Hey Bro, big up from London – I love your videos, you’re seriously the man.
Question – when I’m doing with a track, how do I convert this to mp3 or whatever to share with my friends and put on my ipod?
Thanks a lot for everything.
You have to convert it after you export it from Maschine. Once you export your wav file, open it in iTunes or windows media player and convert it to an mp3 inside one of those programs.
Welcome fam, thanks for the support!
As Nekk says, you have to export it from Maschine as a wave first, check this
https://maschinetutorials.com/how-to-export-your-audio-from-scenes-groups-and-individual-sounds
then you can convert it to an mp3 with many different tools, including the free audacity audio editor, itunes, windows media player, and other wave to mp3 converters
Thanks for tutorial of the step sequence I was wondering how to use that!LOL
no problem fam, it gets overlooked a lot!
Very dope tutorial, you were dead on with everything it is a great way sometimes to just do something different. At times I feel my drum patterns start to sound the same but this give a lot of flexibility.
Indeed man, I love trying new stuff and just having fun yo!
Hey Saint Joe,
So I got the true school sound pack and I’ve been have trouble manipulating a certain sound in the pack. Its an arpeggio type sample in one of the kits. When I put that sound in keyboard mode and it maps across the sixteen pads, I end up with a problem. The problem is that the sound plays at different speeds. I want them to all play at the same speed when pressed. Do you know how I can wire it to work in this way?
it won’t play at the same speed because Maschine doesn’t have automatic timestretching, so since it’s a sample spread across the keys, each pitch up will make it faster
