Yo what’s good fam, got a quick sound design tutorial for ya
This one shows how to use Motu BPM and it’s layering options to create your own custom drum sounds for use in Maschine or anything else.
I really like the layout of BPM drum layering, it’s really quick and easy to make some nice drums

Hi SJ, I like it…seems really easy.
I for one would like to see a drag and drop vid 🙂
Cheers!
The interface is really slick, can’t wait until Maschine has better pad layering options.
I’ll 2nd that drag and drop vid please.
No doubt, it’s on the list, be on the lookout 🙂
19GB of sounds mjummie 😀 , i suppose you can map those pads to the Maschine pads when using Motu BPM as a plug in?
why yes…yes you can sir

Lol you already got a video on it! Man i really need some of Bill Gates money, so much great stuff on the market, so little money on my bankaccount…. Smh
You and me both bro LOL
Very cool idea SJ, I was wondering though if you do the vid w/ just drag & drop….Did you ever find a way to get the 2 programs to place nicely w/ each other when using BPM as a vst? I always seem to crash when using both together..
use it in 32 bit and it works fine, the 64 bit version always crashes maschine
Yes Drag n drop please.
Good Vid fam….likes. Peace!!!!
No doubt fam, enjoy
Glad you posted this SJ
made me check the motu site for BPM update. They 1.5.1 up now. 64bit. runs smoothly. CPU usage has been improved too.
yeah I’m on the update, unfortunately it still isn’t working properly for me in 64 bit, but it’s all good lol
+1 for the vid
and 19GB 0f Drums – thats like Whoa ….can a producer ever have enough drums!
Cool man, I have a few other ways I like to make drums in Maschine I will be showing as well.
Exactly what I needed right here!
Good news fam!
