This is another tutorial from the software interface overview series that shows the various parts of the sampler and pattern view areas in Maschine
You definitely want to be familiar with these areas as you will probably be doing most of your work in these sections.
Editing and slicing samples and creating new patterns are major parts of the workflow in Maschine

No doubt fam, glad you dig it, always more stuff in the works too!
New member here man, coming from an mpc 1000, i’ve been lost with maschine for a minute. this sites amazing. Finally starting to get the hang of things.
Welcome fam, make sure you ask any questions you may have!
When in Plugin mode, is there any way to make the default view maximized? In Ableton for example, when I open maschine. I have Bar 1 completely visible, and then Bar 2 all the way to the 3rd beat. The 4th is out of view and having to zoom out every single time I open Maschine is driving me crazy. Or mabey a shortcut to maximize all active bars?
Only thing I can think of is if you make a blank 4 bar pattern in each group in standalone, then zoom out so you can see them, then save that as a default project for plugin mode. I wish you could resize the plugin as well.
how do i load music from my pc to maschine
browse to it from the disk tab

Paint mode? How’s that different?
Paint mode lets you draw in multiple notes by clicking and dragging your mouse instead of having to click for each note you want to put in
great thanks saintjoe!
No problem
