Ahh man I love that you broke down everything here in terms of hiding certain aspects of the software. There have been numerous times where I am like looking for a note that i can’t see because all of this sh*t is blocking it! Great stuff..
@NotoriousSee
Hahaha, no doubt fam, glad you found it useful!
Saint Joe How did you get the fx on your Maschine mine is just a gray square Also once you turn a effect on a sound how do i turn it off
once you turn on on you can just take it off, also make sure you’re using the latest version, this is actually an older version in the video.
thanks for this one i closed the browers lol better for my work flow
Yes indeed 🙂
dear ST,
The difference between group TAB and sound TAB is very clear. Group = kits (similar to drumclips/drumrack with sounds in ableton). Sounds are (instruments to play with in pad mode) But under group tab you also find the bank LOOPS. So what are loops? A few samples mapped to the bottom notes on the piano roll. Can I find the instruments used/or the samples of LOOPS also under sound? Can you follow my drift ?
Secondly are they tuts showing you how manage or rearrange these loops? Or remap them?
Thanks SJ
Pieter
Think of the loops as “rex files” they are prechopped samples with a slice on each pad, you can replay them however you wish by loading them without their patterns and playing your own by hitting the pads
hey on my machine there only shows a disk tab not library and disk. do you know why that is?
Yeah they changed it in an update, you’re good. I’m actually in the process of replacing this video with the updated one.
Is it just me or is this video not working? I played it yesterday but today no luck.
Sorry it was my computer lagging…:)
Cool make sure your browser is updated.
Ok, i dont have library tab, i take it this is the update you are talking about? the library tab is now replaced with what looks like piano keys?
Great vids by the way.
This is actually from an older version of Maschine I need to update the video, you just have one tab now that say disk, you click it to switch between your computer hard drive or the maschine library
Great! thanks, next question coming up real soon 🙂
No problem!
i worked it out by looking at other comments, it was just to be able to work out how i start up in 64 bit mode on mac, great site this is. On that subject i thought 64 bit mode would be able to use plugins from 32 bit. Almost like backwards compatible.
Sorry i’m a noob 🙂
Nope, only 64 bit plugins in 64 bit mode unless you’re using a bit bridge like jbride 🙂
