This video goes over the header and arranger section in Maschine 2.0
This is where you will do a lot of file management as well as song creation. This is also how you access product manuals and documentation as well as change the view of the software.
It’s good to make sure you understand these sections in general, and we have more videos going into the song arranger in futher detail to make sure you understand how it operates fully.

Double click loop range for the win!!!

Navigation on the MK2 has changed.
Is it still possible to open/close from MK2 the browser, mods etc?
I cannot find these options.
Tad worried they are no more.
I see lots of other things that are not relevant to my navigation requirements.
Unfortunately a lot of the quick nav options are gone from the mk2/in general. Hoping to see them come back in an update in the near future but who knows.
how do you adjust swing from the hardware?
the maschine studio hardware that is.
i found where the groove section is on the hardware, under channel, then scroll with the right screen…but how do you see your 3rd party instruments like Sylenth to load from the hardware, as well as, say your waves plugins?
My bad bro, was out with the fam taking a break 🙂
shift+browse to pull up your plugin list so you can load them
dope!!!
Where is the bit configuration?
Bit configuration? Not sure what you mean.
I have plug-ins that will not load and You stated on another thread it could be 32bit and suggested Maschine 2 was 64bit so I was wondering if this was the same senecio?
Scenario. Spell check is funny sometimes. By the way, You really are good.
Figured that’s what you meant 🙂
Ahh yes, we’ll there is no preference you just open the shortcut for the version you want. On Windows that’s a separate icon in the app dollar for each version. On Mac you can do a get info on the icon to change modes.
Hey Saintjoe, in Logic I can change the meter every bar if I want to (3/4 in one bar, 7/8 in the next). It looks like Maschine expects a constant meter throughout the tune. Is this the case?
Thanks, I’m lovingg the site and learning a lot!
Yep, unfortunately Maschine has a very basic arranger that many of us have been asking to be enhanced for a while. So your project will have the same setting across all scenes. You could use the patterns to trick it a bit by changing the pattern grid, you can even turn it all the way off to make custom size patterns.
Hey saintjoe, very nice website and great work , you must be very proud of it! When I adjust a pattern length from lets say group A from length-2 to length-4, then the pattern on group B what is set to length-2 will duplicate (reloop) Then when i try to delete the duplicate pattern on a scene it deletes also the original. One way I found out, is to make it a 4 pattern length even if the recorded sound is only on the first 2, so the last two are empty. Only that gives me the result of not… Read more »
You’re running into the same thing that frustrated many of us at first. Basically, Maschine works in loops/scenes, so your scene will always be as long as the longest pattern in it. Anything smaller will always loop, you can’t actually access the duplicated/looped sections as they are basically just placeholders. The only way to do what you want is to make patterns like you said, with empty bars, so you could make one pattern that’s 4 bars but has content only in bar 1 and 2, then make another pattern for group B that is 4 bars but only has… Read more »
