In this free tutorial I am showing how to use timestretching inside Maschine using the free UVI Workstation version 2
I already showed how to do this using UVI Workstation 1 here: realtime timestretch using uvi workstation
However, UVI has released a new version 2 of the workstation and has some features that work great inside Maschine.
It’s not the greatest or smoothest algorithm, but it works, and the UVI Workstation if free 🙂
check it out
Good Video. This will definitely be replacing the audacity alternative.
Yessir, when you told me Audacity didn’t work for you I was like “dang I should have done the UVI video first” lol.
It’s really fast and easy man, drag and drop, feels like part of Maschine lol.
Well to be honest, Audacity was never that buggy even on the Mac platform. I don’t know what happened this go round.
Hmmm, maybe they just due for an update, either way, I think this workflow is quicker 🙂
hey does uvi require ilok? can’t recall. but I thought it did. and in this video you pull up the sound from the folder instead of using the bounce technique of the kontakt one… was there any particular reason or was it just that u knew where the sample was so you skipped that step… I kinda like the bounce out style as I hate looking for the file name lol
No ilok required, and if you see in the video, I rename my file and then use the edit menu to “open containing folder” I find it to be faster than bouncing actually 🙂
thanks Joe….I needed this. Prec!
No doubt fam, glad you can use it.
goin to grab this now
Indeed man!
