I did a video showing how to save default project templates a while ago, but NI has updated the process since then so I wanted to redo it for those that were getting confused by the old video.
This process is useful if you always setup certain things like fx, instruments, or routings, or maybe you like to start with a specific bpm, you can set it once in your template project and not have to do it every time you’re ready to create.

there it go! that’s what I needed to know….don’t know why NI removed that default tab though…oh well!! Great! 🙂
Yeah man, dunno why they did that
Great tip bro !
no doubt man, they changed it up
Cool – those crazy Germans – always keeping us on our toes!
hahahaha, yeah man, I guess you can call it that lol
This is great! I have a question, though. Say I wanted to create a template where each sound in a group has a voice setting of 1 & each group has a voice setting of 16. Would it be possible to create an empty template that automatically has these settings when I load up new sounds?
You will have to load an empty sampler module into each pad and save it that way in order to save voice settings for the pads.
Hi Saintjoe
Would I be able to save my midi mappings this way too.?
I have posted into the forum, which you replied. Thanks for that, apreciated!!
I have Kontakt and using Evolve library, would like to map the trigger fx switches to my Launchcontroller
and save it,to save keep remapping them each time
Only if you save Kontakt as mapped in the project, so basically your default would always load Kontakt with your mappings.
