Had a question about using jBridge to convert 32 bit plugins for use in Maschine when running in 64 bit.
I use this often for the 32 bit only plugins I still have, it’s pretty straight forward.
You can get the jBridge app from their site: http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/
I think it’s like 30 bucks or something I don’t remember, been a while since I bought it lol.

I have only been working in stand alone with machine.
My computer is a 64 bit computer environment. (I built it specifically that way) and I only try to use 64 bit plugs and sofware.
Here is my question.
How do I open machine in 64 bit mode?
Why does machine only open in 32 bit? Is it because I am only working in stand alone mode?

Search for the shortcut that says Maschine (64 bit) as the regular shortcut opens the 32 bit version 🙂
It should be in your start menu if you type Maschine or just go to the Maschine folder.
OK will do
Thank you sir!

No problem fam!
stJoe i recently wiped my computer and upgraded to windows 7… previously purchased JBridge and it was working fine in vista but now that i try use it for tonespace in windows 7 it gives me a runtime error.. any advice??
Nah, not sure, I would contact the developer and ask for the latest installer.
Quick Question when I try to add tonespace as a plugin it’s not even coming up as an option, my Computer is running windows vista 64, is that the reason ( do I need Jbridge for that) or is it something else I need to do?
If you’re using maschine in 64 bit, tonespace won’t work, it’s only 32 bit. You can use jbridge or you can open maschine in 32 bit mode.
Was bood fam, I received the emails, about to send you a bio. Just one question, to have my 3rd party plugins show up in the drop down menu, is my maschine suppose to be checked to start in 64 or 32 ? And if 32, do I have to (get info) on each NI plugin and switch them to 32 ?

It can be either or just depends on what type of plugins you use most. If you don’t have any 32 bit plugins just run in 64 bit.
