Yo, just another quick tip for ya
This one is about converting maschine’s midi into audio in Studio One using the “bounce in place” option
Nothing fancy, but if you’re like me and prefer to work with audio…here it is.

Yeah buuuudy, I been trying to get you on Studio One for the longest. I’ve converted many folks to it lol. It’s the only Daw I really got down with outside of Ableton Live. I prefer Live for production, but everything in S1 is so smooth.
By the way you can hit ctrl+B instead of right clicking and going to the menu 🙂
grrrrrrrrraaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! i know bout dat old school lol, yo love the quick tips man, i have been back and forth between protools 8 le, and studio one, i must say studio one work flow is smoother, protools has that eye candy u know looks good, but anyways, good looking out on this knock!
Yeah man, I settled on S1 when I was looking, I just like the simple interface and everything is really easy to do. They doing a great job with it. Whenever I need a “daw” I open Studio One….but honestly, that’s not often anymore lol.
yes sir… thats exactly how i use maschine in my setup! i love studio one for that reason! that bounce option is suuuuuper dope! i dont really like the scenes in maschine this is very simple IMHO.
Peace
Word, definitely opens up things as far as arrangement goes.
Knock, I’m apologizing now. You’ll find out why later on. 😉
Gene swift on the loopback! Nothin is safe LOL
Ahh man the cat’s out the bag! I couldn’t help it. SJ it’s your fault. If you hadn’t told me about Focusrite, I would’ve had a RME instead.
great vid! making me use S1 Pro over Logic….one issue i am finding though…. when i have an open high hat, it is not being cut by the closed high hat when i follow these instructions. everything else is perfect! just annoying that my open hats are not closing when they should… it sounds fine on the maschine
Any thoughts?
Probably because it’s bouncing them as separate audio files
Hey saintjoe! any suggestions on fixing this?
I’d leave the two hihats together instead of separating them. Solo only the two hats and drag that midi out, then do a midi bounce on those.
Or forget the midi and just drag them together as audio into S1
great idea. thanks
No problem fam! Glad to help.
