Hey what’s good MT family!
Just a quick tutorial for a member that was asking about assigning your slices to individual pads.
If you’ve been using Maschine from previous versions you probably already know this, but for those newer to Maschine this is definitely one of those things that is good to know.
It gives you more control over the individual slices since each one lives on it’s own pad as opposed to applying the slice to a single pad where each slice is a different note in keyboard mode.

Hi, just was try to see if it was possible to load sample chops across the keys instead of Maschine , its limited to 16 chops but goes up to 128 so Im trying to figure out how to get the rest to the keyboard I have KK S88
If you just press “apply” instead of “apply to” it will spread the chops across the keys on a single pad. https://maschinetutorials.com/maschine-2-0-how-to-spread-your-kits-and-chops-across-the-keyboard/
Joe, thanks for the vid. How would you chop the sample and send it to only pads 13-16. So if I wanted to have one sample chopped on pads 1-4. A second sample on 5-8. A third on 9-12. So 4 different samples and sliced in one group. Can this be done.

In that case you can chose “apply single” and chose the samples to put on individual pads. Honestly in that case, I’d put them all in a group and manually duplicate/chop them on the pads I want them on as it would be faster than going into slice mode and choosing the individual slices one by one.
Thank you SJ.
No problem fam!
