Just a quick video on something you may or may not be familiar with or even realize is there.
Just like with audio, where you can drag and drop or export audio to get it out of Maschine, you also have two options to get MIDI out of Maschine.
Along with MIDI drag and drop, there is also a MIDI export function in the pattern file menu.

so i can export/drag the sounds into midi tracks on another daw where I can mess with pitches, velocity and etc.??
Yes, but remember, it’s only midi. If you do not have it pointing to anything, it will not make any sound.
good one Sj….. more options….excellent!!
word man, got a few more lil quickies like this too
HI Sj
this is a little off topic sorry (didnt know where else to post it)
I am having problems getting maschine to trigger a pattern on my roland tr727, i would like to trigger the pattern in scene 4 of a song when i try to trigger it i only get the first bongo sound and the tr727 does not trigger – any suggestions??
cheers
G
will mostly depend on how your 727 receives midi, do you need to have a midi note that triggers for the entire length of the pattern or just a single hit to trigger the pattern. Also, make sure you sign up for MT Connect, thats where more questions that may not be related specifically to a certain tutorial can be handled in the forums or the main wall.
Hey SJ
I got 42 patterns of drums I want to export into a new project on maschine 2. I ‘m looking for a recent video on that. I Hope I can export the patterns all together and not 42 seperate.
Thx
You still have to export midi patterns separately, you can’t export midi for a whole song or a whole group of patterns currently.
