Got a quick follow up to the video I did on copying events between groups on Maschine Studio
Had a question specifically on how it works on the MK2 so I wanted to make sure that all the MK2 users were comfortable with the process as well.

They used to sell the faceplate/kits for the mk2 that came with the faceplate and the knobs, I got the blue kit but kept the white knob on my white mk2 🙂
They still do or at least there are stocks of them in Australia. They are designed to replace the default plate and knobs. I got the gold limited addition, MK 2 but it has black lettering for the shift functions. Nearly impossible to read against the illuminated, white pads. So, I got the slate grey plate. It’s very close to the Black MK 2 and has white letters (it was on special at ½ price). Looks really cool with external gold surrounds. Yeah you can still find them places other than NI. I got some just for knobs for my Studio 🙂
Hahahaha at the knob flying…man I know all about that smh. As for the electronics stores, I’ve been through MANY knobs, they were usually not deep enough to cover the shaft. I’m talking about ordering knobs from manufacturers and stuff…eventually I just gave up because what I wanted wasn’t available.
So I stick with the NI knobs from the kits now, much less headache and it looks good.

I don’t remember if any of the kits came with white knobs, I don’t think so.

I don’t see a video on this section. Can you point me to where I can view or can you help me directly please? I’m trying to COPY ALL of the patterns from one group to another new group. I have a different sound in the new group and would like easily compare the sounds. Thank you for your help!
Hey Richard, check again, I just refereshed the video code on the page in case it was causing viewing issues.
For copying all patterns from one group to another quickly, I’d just copy (duplicate) the whole group to a new group first (make sure to check +contents on screen 1), then replace the sounds you need with the new sounds. It would be faster than trying to copy the events, etc.
