Hey what’s good MT fam! Just wanted to share a quick tutorial with the Mikro users as I received this questions recently.
This is a really quick video to show you how to do the “quick edit” of changing the pitch of a sample on a single pad.
On the big Maschine controller it’s really fast to just hold the pad and turn the tempo knob, on the Maschine Mikro it’s still pretty fast just different and I wanted to show how as it’s not as obvious as some of the other options.

Why you trying to make me like my Mikro? Lol
Cuz I dig mine LOL
this is great…i was changing the root note the other way – this is much quicker….i need to get my hardware chops up; I’m assuming I’d use it more if i were on the big maschine which seems much more intuitive…volume and swing seem to be easy ones to master too… adding a few at a time…..
Yeah there are some cool things you can do but its definitely faster on maschine.
does this work if you are using a kontakt drum patch and you want to make it transpose so it will fit on the pads instead of the keys?
yes, will let you access different drums in keyboard mode when doing this.
Is this the same for Maschine Mikro MK2? I noticed there’s a slight difference in the buttons and where there located on the Mikro MK2 vs. Mikro MK1. Also, will you be doing more tutorials on the Maschine Mikro MK2? There’s very few on here, unlike there being much more for the Maschine MK2 and Maschine Studio. Which I don’t have either of them.
Yeah it’s the same, I only do specific videos on a controller if something is exclusive to it. Otherwise the software works the same and tasks work the same on each controller. If you have specific questions on the mikro mk2 feel free to ask.
Ok, great! I will keep that in mind. Thanks for letting me know.
No problem, we are here to help, if there’s something you don’t’ understand just ask, if it needs a video and we don’t have one we will make it 🙂
That’s awesome knowing that! Got it! I’m thinking about getting a Maschine Studio too. So, I’ll will let you know if I have questions about both of them! Thanks for being so helpful
No problem!
