Yo what’s good fam, got another Maschine Mikro tutorial for ya. This one shows how to navigate to the various sample playback and sample module options directly from the controller.
There’s multiple ways to do this, including using the pads for quick navigation. Since the Mikro has one screen and one knob, NI had to implement a way to still make the navigation easy and most of all, make sense.
So check the video and of course let me know if you have any questions

great vid….I’ve been ignoring getting around on the controller; it’s definitely worth being quick with it –
going through this one with you with maschine running – opening a lot of doors……..this is how you do it man – thanks
Cool man, yeah, just trying to make ya more efficient with the controller so everyone can be comfortable with both 🙂
Thanks for the tip SaintJoe.
no doubt fam
The mikro is another world when it comes to navigation. I think it feels like a totally different controller than the maschine, but I love the speed I can have on both the mikro and the regular maschine. Thank you SaintJoe for a different view on things. Keep up the good work guys !
Yes indeed, it’s a very different system, but I’ve become pretty quick with it just like the regular Maschine, once you use it, it just becomes habit.
Hot damn Saint Joe. Ive been trying to figure out where the ASDR control was so I could tweak my 808s. Now im bangin like im suppose too. Much thanx
Good news fam!
hey man!
nice video.
can i do this also with groups?
for example when i want to pitch everything not just one slice. or want to compress more than one slice.
when i hit the group button there is no option
If you want to change the pitch of the whole group, make sure you’re on the group source tab, and there will be a polyphony option as well as a pitch/tune option.
If you want to add effects over the group, as long as you’re on the group tab you have 4 module slots that you can use to apply to every pad in the group, this is separate from the module slots on each individual pad in the group.
