Hey what’s good fam, hope everything is well.
In this tutorial I want to show you how to import midi files into Maschine when you are using it inside of Ableton Live. Of course we know we can’t currently import MIDI into Maschine natively, but there is much flexibility to be had by using MIDI files and treating them as new customizable sample sources.
This allows you to have a sample or phrase that you can tweak, that isn’t locked to a specific tempo, and of course it isn’t locked to a specific sound.
So taking a violin part and assigning it to a synth is very simple to do.

On point and right on time for me bro. I did a track on the iPad in Garageband iOS. Opened the file in Logic and exported the Midi to Studio One. Loaded Maschine and followed this video and got total control of the track in Maschine now!!!
