Maschine FX: Understanding the maximizer module

This is another video in the Maschine factory effects series and the last one in the dynamic section, this video goes over the features and controls of the maximizer module.

Now the maximizer is similar to a limiter and compressor in a way but the main purpose of this module is to alter the dynamics of the entire signal to give more perceived loudness.

As usual, there is no right or wrong way to use it, but I would say just be careful not to overdo it, many use it on the group or master level but it can also be useful on individual instruments at times.
