Hey what’s good fam!
Got a question from a member on how he could use some of his favorite sounds from Studio One inside of Maschine.
As you know, the library for S1 is in a “package” format, so you can’t just browse directly to the folder and access them.
However, as you may also know, S1 is very flexible in terms of getting audio in and out of the DAW, so it’s a really smooth process to get the sounds out of S1 and into Maschine.
Check out the video below and of course if you have any questions just ask!

thanks man
This is really fast, I was going slow mo man, however I did like dumping some drums inside of impact and using the tune feature mix with the transpose to get a really low end kick and then I would drag them over to a open track…
Yeah, you can tune in machine too.
not like this you cant, I tune to -100 and then I transpose -1 and it gives me a really different feel
Have you tried tuning it from the sample menu and then the pad tune itself?
Man I have to quick being a punk a dedicate myself to learning the sample features…. Sounds Very interesting, what vid should I start off with to do this>?
Just open sampling and go to the sample map tab, you can directly change the tune of the sample there, which different than changing the tune of the pad itself.

Also for the delay, But I don’t quite understand trying it from the sample menu question
Also do you have any idea where I could puchase massive presets that have nexus 2 type of sounds?
You can check these out http://www.adsrsounds.com/product/massive-presets/nexus-based-massive-presets/
Would I install the same way you did with the air presets?
They should have instructions, but generally you should be able to just import them through preferences.
Dope !
No doubt fam.
Man. That’s a great tip. I’m gonna work on this with some sounds in S1 as well as for sound design. I have some plugins that are real cpu heavy in Maschine, but I will sound design with them in S1 then import the samples in Maschine with similar steps. Thanks St. Joe.
Cool bro!
Crazy!
Hahahaha lol
