Hey what’s good MT fam?
Got a question in the forum on how to make a sample’s pitch glide up or down as you play it.
I answered the question but wanted to do a video just to show it for others that may be interested.
This will work on any sample you have loaded, so it’s good for 808 and bass samples, as well as any other sample where you want that glide pitch effect.
It’s very easy to setup in Maschine 2 as well as Maschine 1

ahhhh i love your tuts!!
Glad to help!
quick question, i like to have a seperate kick at the same time of my 808 playing, how do i adjust the 808 to eliminate it’s kick sound so it doesn’t sound distorted?
I’m not sure I understand completely, but you could eq it, filter it, adjust the level, etc.
also…you could try adjusting the “Attack” on the 808 using ADSR …adjust it just slightly until the “kick” or Punch in the 808 is not heard.
Ahh, all I saw was distortion and figured it was clashing, but the “kick” sound would definitely be something to adjust the attack on.
Also could use transient master on it to soften the attack.
yea i just threw a filter on it, played with the levels, preciate it man!
No doubt fam!
