So in Maschine 2.0 some things have changed in regards to your metronome and count-in settings.
You now have the options to set the length of your count-in along with the time signature of your metronome, as well as a quick way to adjust the level.
It’s called the Record Mode screen, and this is also where you turn quantize on or off.
It’s easy to get to from any of the controllers as well as from within the preferences.

I was wondering how to route audio from my maschine mk2 2.0 software to a audio track in my reason7 software?
I’m stuck I want to use maschine to make my drum tracks in reason but I don’t know how to run the audio into the software as a audio track to record the drum line, please help lol
Peace medical mark
The quickest and easiest way would be to drag your drum pattern as audio into reason unless you have an audio interface that allows routing between applications.
I have a audio interface but how would you use it to route audio? Maschine has no audio output just usb and midi so all audio would be routed via USB through your CPU so I’m stumped?. Dragging audio into reason ? Interesting. Next month ill be getting a Mac mini so I was thinking I could use my current laptop for maschine alone and route my audio from my laptop straight from the audio jack right into my ballance or akai pro USB audio interface right into reason like a instrament plugged into line 1 ? Would this work… Read more »
There are some audio interfaces that route audio internally between applications, but not all do it. You could certainly dedicate Maschine to your laptop and take the audio out of your laptop into your new computer if you really want to use Maschine inside of Reason that way. You can also drag and drop the audio as a loop directly from the pattern section and then open it as a wave inside of Reason 🙂
See this video to know where to drag from

with quantize set to on will the notes be quantized 100%
Yeah
Is there a way to adjust the quantize percentage before or after recording? Like say if i record with quantize on, can i adjust it to 50% so it doesn’t sound so mechanical? Only other option is to record with it off and then hit 50% quantize huh?
Yeah that’s pretty much the only way currently
My metronome will not count in. I followed your instructions but still Maschine starts without a count in. I contacted NI but haven’t heard from them. I’m new to Maschine, using the MK2 w/2.0 software. Thanks for any help you can give.
Are you pressing shift then record? (While holding shift)
Thanks for responding so quickly. That did it.
No problem fam!
Love these tutorials! Very simple, short and to the point. I’m a migrating Reason user of 7 years so getting used to this Maschine is definitely a task. Thanks for all your help!
