In the original Maschine I showed how to layer plugins or instruments internally but it required some special MIDI configuration and routing.
However in Maschine 2.0 this is much easier and in this quick video I show how to do it.
I have an exclusive turoial coming that will be showing how you can use this method for sound design and building up a library of multi layered instruments
anyway to link them to different notes? For example the first sound/pad linked to c1 and the second linked to c2. Have a few guitar / bass plug ins that work on diff octaves and want to play them together
You could change the root note of the pad via pad mode
Nice vid fam
When is that exclusive turorial youre talking about comming btw?
As soon as it’s ready you’ll know 🙂
Coooool fam 😀 !!
No doubt 🙂
How do you light them up with the software/mouse? If i click on one it gets not highlighted in grey but as a whole (the colour to so i select that pad same as if i pressed on my pad) ?
Been doing this by hardware so never noticed this.
Also, regarding to layering, next to LOAD suppose to be ADD correct? I see nothing there , or prehear but no add?
Just like selecting multiple text docoments, click, plus shift, then click the last one you want, or do ctrl+click to select multiple pads one at a time.
ADD is only going to show up for samples when layering on a single pad.
Thanks Lol again that thingy with the multiple text documents you teached me the other day ! I thought about it when i went out ofthe lab but didnt try
But that add , i know its for layering on one pad but how can you if add doenst show up? What am i overlooking , i know i use to see it in the old 1.8 . You have to be in the zone perhaps in rder for it to be available?
ADD is only for samples.
I was in samples tho
In samples all i kept seeing was prehear (in the others like sounds etc it was empty)
If you are in samples, and in the zone/mapping tab, you will see the option to ADD and not just browse.
🙂 thank you sir
no problem bro!
