Here’s a question I get from a lot of new Maschine users, how to load a new project from the hardware. I created a free tutorial to show exactly how to do this to share with the entire Maschine community.
It’s a really simple process but can speed up your workflow tremendously if you like to do most of your work directly from the controller.
As usual, let me know if you have any questions

great tip! digging the black faceplate too…
Thanks man! It’s the blue faceplate 🙂
just set this tip up on my setup – very cool – – (i liked the look when i thought it was black…going to see if i can find one in black…i like the look of the white knobs against the darkness…was going to go aluminum knobs, but the white/black looks good!)
Cool man! Yeah it’s the blue one from NI
Thanks for the tip SaintJoe.
Glad to help!
Smart thinking! Thanks for the tip bruh
No problem
i’ve added another one btw, same way and title like you said but one with 32bit behind 0_New Project and one with 64bit behind it. Cause i dont always use 64bit 🙂 peace
Nice…well the project would open no matter which bit you use 🙂 Unless of course you have 32 bit specific plugins that you load in that project that aren’t available in 64 bit 🙂
Right 🙂 gotta add that overwritting protecting btw lol cause i have the habbit of pressing save without thinking and overwrite it lol great tip!
Yeah me too lol
The only drawback is that once you start a new project you can’t save from the hardware but that’s not a big deal.
Yeah you have to do a save as first but you can’t name a project from the hardware either so you always have to use the computer the first time you save anyway no matter how you stay the project.
