Sometimes when Maschine automaps plugins, it creates tons of pages with weirdly named parameters that you may or may not use.
So you are stuck going through tons of pages to find what you need.
In this tutorial I show how to make your own plugin mappings using the learn function, which you can then save so that you have your own custom controls for the plugin each time it loads.
It’s really quick, check it out!
Thanks Fam! This makes sense!
No doubt fam, I rarely use the 16 pages that Maschine maps lol, so I just create my own
thx for another really helpful tutorial
No problem yo
Thanks – great tutorial. Can you customise the names you give to mapped VST parameters?
Nope not yet, it has been requested though!
A basic oversight that seriously needs addressing. Having a row of controls all labelled “Filter” is a pain in the butt.
Yeah, but again, it depends more on the plugin than Maschine, Maschine only picks up what the plugin advertises. But I agree, we should be able to rename them.
Ouch!!!!! man your volume on the synth was so loud lol! Good Tutorial.
Ha! lol Firebird is a beast man, I be forgetting lol.
No doubt, Firebird has a hot signal!
Ha, yeah son!
Good LAWDD!!!! MY EARS!!!!! I hope I can still make beats, lol.. Good info on the tutorial.
Hahahaha lol, no doubt!
This is very useful. I know that I will put this to some good use.
Good video bro.
word man, yeah, I love it because some of the plugins be mapping a bunch of stuff lol
hey SJ. does this same technique apply to Kore 2? i tried it but it doesn’t work & there’s no sound when i clear the assignments. what’s going on?
yes it works, don’t clear the paramters though, just delete the pages you don’t need and learn the parameters 1 at a time. So right click on a knob to learn it, then touch the knob you want it to control in kore. I’ve found if you try to autolearn them all at once you’ll get that error, and if you clear all pages at once, same thing. I’ve reported it to NI.
is there a video that shows the same thing but assigning it to your midi keyboard on the side – like a axiom and putting the cut off on a rotary knob?
