So what do you do once you have your project laid out like you want it in Maschine?
Most of the time you want to turn it into an audio track or tracks.
In Maschine 2.o they have added some features that make it much faster to get everything out of your projects as audio and ready for loading into your favorite daw, taking to the studio, uploading to soundcloud, burning it on CD, or whatever it is you wish to do.
It’s very simple with only a few options you need to worry about

YES! I always forget the tempos when I transport em.
Yes indeed man, very welcome addition!
Thank God this makes backing up your sounds and projects so much easier!!
I’ve been wanting this forever man lol
You and me both homie I hated second guessing whether I extracted the right group or not when going into another DAW now it does it all beautiful!!
Yes indeed fam!
not to sound like a moron but when I try for a render of the master output it only does a loop of whatever scene is highlighted….how do I get it to render the master output of the whole project start to finish (scene 1-10 or whatever). Any help would be great as for some reason no one is mentioning this online anywhere.
double click at the top where the scene numbers are to highlight all the scenes at once
it would be that simple wouldn’t it lol *facepalm* totally new to Maschine altogether so I’m stumbling along. Glad I joined the group. Thanks Saintjoe!
No problem man, in older versions they used to have “entire song” option lol
How to you get Maschine 2.1 to only export seperate events that’s used. The problem I have that when I use sound to export it exports all blank tracks also.
Yeah I mentioned this to them as well. You would have to go in and uncheck the sounds you didn’t use before exporting by expanding each group. It’s honestly a pain and shouldn’t be an issue I’m hoping they fix it so it only exports the sounds/pads that have actual sequence data on them.
Hey guys, i have a question regarding this. Its a bit different than described there but I couldnt find a tutorial that was closer. So, in Maschine I made beats, patterns, etc. For one of my Groups I used Vengance pack Kicks. I just added them into the sound slots. They play perfectly, everything works perfect however, I am unable to click and Drag the wav files into my Daw nor am I able to export the files using the method described above. The vengence files are wav files and I assumed it would be easy. Is there something I… Read more »
In order to drag and drop from Maschine into your daw you have to make sure you’re dragging the little arrow section, you can’t just drag from the pads. You should be able to export your loops/tracks with no problem as long as you have sequence data in the group it should work.
Is there a way to export a group with its individual settings, sounds and fx? Like if I created a kit and wanted to share it with someone online?
You can save a group with it’s samples, just right click on the group and choose “save with samples” and it will put the samples in a folder with the kit file outside. I usually create a new folder for each kit I save in that way. It will also retain any fx settings you have setup in the kit.
Just sent a question asking about this but all I seen was the one for maschine 1. Sitting at work and found the one for maschine 2 so disregard the message I sent you yesterday. Man y’all got all the answers to my problems on this site. Glad I joined, Tru dat!
No problem fam, I responded to your question also, all good, glad to help 🙂
Is there a way to export to a mp3 format instead of a wave?
Maschine doesn’t export in mp3, you’d have to convert it after using something like itunes, audacity, or an mp3 to wav app.
Hi Saintjoe, thanks! I get it. We’ve talked about me trying to use (abuse/mis use 🙂 Maschine 2 as a DAW and that brings me to the next question: If I have a long pattern (many bars, with somewhere in the middle of this pattern some musical data (a short melody) and I want to save this melody as an audio file; what to do. I found two methods that kinda work. What would you do and am I missing a better method? 1 create another group and record the melody internally (sample method), then safe as audiofile. 2 copy… Read more »
Both of those ways would work. Also, if it’s in a specific group already and you just want the melody from a single sound you could solo it and drag the audio out, or put the sound into keyboard mode and drag it out as an audio file. Really depends on which way you like the best and what you wish to do with it after.
Thanks! Could you select a part of the sound and drag that out? I only seem to be able to drag all of it.
It would be the whole thing, if you only want a specific part I’d say resample it and chop it to get the part you want, or delete the midi notes before you drag it out so you only have the part you want.
Thanks again. really helpful regarding the solo single sound and drag out.
Solo midi from single sound and drag out isn’t a possibility it seems, or?
Should work better for you with MIDI if you put the sound into keyboard mode so only the MIDI for that sound is showing.
Thanks Saintjoe, does it make any sense that I can drag midi from a solo sound to a new sound in same group, but not to a new group? It seems to work, but I don’t see any midi in new group sound
You should also be able to drag it to a new group, you may try making sure the group is actually created first before dragging to it.
That could make the difference I guess Thanks!
No problem, let me know how it goes 🙂
