Yo what’s good fam, just wanted to share a quick free tutorial with the Maschine community as a whole.
Many have asked how to use or map Battery 3 in Maschine.
We’ve done a few other Battery 3 tutorials that show how to access the pads, save defaults, etc.
This one I just wanted to share quickly how to make your own custom knob mapping for controlling Battery 3 parameters in Maschine
On point bro!!! I just finished watching the Battery 3 tutorial earlier this month and the lack of hands on turned me off a little but the potential in terms of sound design is very attractive. Now I got to get on my template duty and get some thangs set up and saved. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
Man you know I always try to make it practical fam! Hope it helps ya!
Great, so you can actually almost each digital knob from Battery, 127 since you got 16 pages 😀 i first thought only 8 knobs!
Thanks Saint Joe
Indeed man, have fun 🙂
you get multiple pages for anything you load, if you don’t see more pages just click the drop down and “add page”. Go wild bro!
Custom map each digital knob – i forgot a few words lol
I knew what you meant lol
Q: would it follow the same convention to create a macro via Maschine? (i.e. a/d/s/r, master fx, etc.)
once you assign them to the plugin pages in maschine, you can then right click on those and assign them to the macro knobs if you wish
So it is only possible to automate all the cell stuff for one sound (for example the kick). I cant just switch the sound and use the same automation?
yeah Battery actually shows parameters for each separate cell individually, unless you are mapping specific global parameters, there’s just a ton of stuff in there to automate
