Yo what’s good MT Fam!
This is just a creative way to use Maschine’s sampler to build an entire drum kit on a single pad, similar to drum kits in Kontakt, keyboard workstations, etc.
This is useful if you plan to process your drums all together, and don’t need separated drum hits.

Dope Man! I’m sitting here in the DMV enjoying this ! Can’t wait to get back to the lab and try this out!
Cool fam! It’s just a cool option to have. Lemme know what you think.
On another note, what you doin at the dmv son? LOL
Tips Tips tips!
Love Em!
Large up Tha boy Name Saint Joe!
Hope yall enjoy it!
Ya dude that was a good tip! Quick break or intro/outro with that filter! Great idea!
Yeah, it could prove useful for sure.
Hey! Thanks for that tip…
No doubt, glad to help!
is there a way to drag in a whole bunch of drums at once instead of one at a time…
yes, just drag them in 🙂
I assume u can’t apply FX on each of them.
But is it possible to mix them seperatfly in the DAW ?
Correct as stated one of the drawbacks here is flexibilty. This acts more like a patch in a workstation or kontakt instrument. Everything will have the same fx and you will not really be mixing them separately in your daw because you can’t send them to individual outputs. However, depdning on which daw you use, you may be able to drag the midi in and then bounce each note to audio. I know studio one and logic allow for this. This is more useful when you want to effect an entire kit the same way and not have individual drums… Read more »
Can u solo or mute the drum sounds though to track like that?
nope
Yes Saint Joe, This is exactly what I was looking for, no one at the maschine NI forum explained the mapping section of sampling. I looked at the mapping in the software, but didnt try and drag samples :/, someone said maschine sampler isnt efficient for this, boy did this prove that wrong.
screw battery (for now)
I’m filling every pad with 128 of each drum sound(128 kick, 128 snare, 128 cymball)
Badass workflow on the wayyy, and still keeping that cpu low hopefully.
No doubt fam! Yeah it will work, and you shouldn’t use up much cpu since it’s just samples. When you start adding fx and such that’s different, but since you only have to add an fx on a single pad, even then, it should still be cool. Glad to help you do what you want fam, and save some money in the process 🙂
Don’t forget to save the group as a kit when you’re done so you can recall all that hard work quickly yo!
