Hey what’s good MT fam! Got a question in the forum about how to record or sample audio into Maschine while running your audio through fx.
So if you want to actually sample your external gear, guitar, mic, etc with your desired fx, this video shows you how to set it up

This is definitely an age old technique for sampling and adding character without having to go back and do so later. Sometimes you get a different vibe and it causes you to capture different ideas because the fx are being used as an input.
Of course if you have questions let me know!
Dope. I wanted to know if you could do a Boom Bap lofi set of Garageband presets? For like instruments, Drums, and Vox.
Not sure I understand what you’re asking. This doesn’t have anything to do with Garageband.
Hey ST. Joe, I see how this can be done with ‘hardware’ but how do you do this when Sampling/Recording ‘software’ instruments played from another plugin inside Maschine 2.0??
It would be done the same way, instead of setting your input to an external source, you would route it from an internal group/pad.
So the sound you want to sample with fx, you’d setup the fx, then you can set the sampler to record the output of that group/pad.
