Just a quick tip tutorial showing how to access more than 16 slices in Maschine
Since Maschine doesn’t have “pad banks” like on an MPC or other hardware device, this shows how you can chop your samples into 32 or more parts and actually play them from the pads
Sure it’s simple, but can be useful, enjoy!

yes sir!! thanks saintjoe!
No doubt fam, just a lil nugget many ask me about often.
Cool,so can you apply this method to say the same piano loop that you edit yourself not using maschines slicer? Making 32 separate self edited slices? If you said it sorry I missed it 🙂
well, this will only work when using autochop, because you can’t say, manually edit a wave file, and then put each chop on a key int he map via keyboard mode….if that makes sense 😉
Ya it does make sense thanks Joe.
Good lol, cuz I thought I confused you lol
Nice
No doubt fam…it can prove to be useful at times
Nice 1 Joe! I was wandering how to do that myself yesterday.

Yes Yes Yes!!!!!! that’s what I needed!
good news bro!
Thanks it worked. I just need to know how to move my starting point to match A0 with my chops, it defaults to -2A in keyboard mode even though it registers as C1 in control editor. Can this be done?
Sorry I missed this. You can only adjust what notes you’re playing on your controller, it automatically assigns the chops based on how many chops you choose and just goes up from the bottom/root note, you can’t set the root note itself when applying the chops.
Oh lol, just realized I replied to this question via email 😉
